J. Patrick Quinlan is a Colorado registered Professional Engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a veteran of the US Army, married for 22 years and has a daughter at a very expensive college. He has been in the HVAC field for 20 years now after spending about 14 years as a water resource engineer, having worked in Alaska and Hawaii for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, then the Denver Water Department and as a private consultant. He and his wife Judy have owned and operated B & F Heating since 1991, adding Coffman & Co to the operation in 1998.

Company History

Coffman and Companies has served the Denver area community for almost 30 years. It all started back in 1983 with B&F Heating in Wheat Ridge. In 1991, it was purchased by Pat and Judy Quinlan, who grew the company to about 10 trucks and 20 employees over the rest of the decade. In 1998, they purchased Coffman & Co. in Aurora and in 2000, an electric department was added to the existing HVAC and plumbing lines. A year later, the electric department became its own company, Coffman Electric. Along the way, Precision Air, Genesee Heating and Cooling and several other companies joined the team and are now consolidated and operated under the Coffman name.
